Field Day at STL Bees Queen Rearing Yard
Please join us on TUESDAY, August 28th at the club's SSA queen rearing apiary from 6:00 to 9:00pm, at 1250 Stephen Jones Avenue, Wellston, Missouri. This yard is easy to navigate to, just north of University City, a couple blocks off of Skinker Parkway, see map below.
Along with enjoying the evening with friends and food, we'll talk about our queen rearing challenges, successes and lessons learned at this location and what the plans are for next season.
The club will supply meat and veggie options for the grill, along with soft drinks. Guests will provide side dishes. To help you decide what to bring, we're suggesting based on your last name, as follows -
A - F - Chips & Dips
G - L - Salad
M - S - Side/Veggie/Cassrole
T - Z - Dessert
If you are interested in observing or working with the honeybee colonies, please print, sign and bring this waiver with you, along with your protective clothing.
Please also supply your favorite lawn chair.
